Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated · 18 July 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to subscription payments made to EventPilot for EventPilot plans purchased on our pricing page. It does not apply to tickets or fees an event organizer may charge their own attendees — those are governed by the organizer's own policies.

2. Cancelling a subscription

  • You can cancel any time from your organization's billing settings or by emailing hello@eventspilot.in.
  • Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • No further charges are made after a confirmed cancellation.

3. Refunds

  • Monthly plans — charges for a started monthly cycle are non-refundable; you keep access until the cycle ends.
  • Yearly plans — refundable in full within 7 days of the first charge if the plan has not been materially used (no live event published in that period). After 7 days, yearly plans may be refunded pro-rata for full unused months, at our discretion.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges — refunded in full once verified.
  • Extended outages — if a verified platform outage prevents check-in during your live event, contact us within 7 days; we will credit or refund fairly based on impact.

4. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment gateway within 7–10 business days of approval. Timing of the credit on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer. Any taxes collected on the refunded amount are refunded as required by law.

5. Requesting a refund

Email hello@eventspilot.in from your account owner's address with the organization name, invoice number or payment reference, and the reason for the request. We respond within 3 business days.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the version in force at the time of your charge applies to that charge. Material changes are notified to account owners by email.
